Common thread

Surrender is not defeat — it is laying down the heavy load of ‘I’ and resting in the divine.

Echo

Sanskrit prapatti / śaraṇam (taking refuge), Sikh Hukam (accepting God's Will), and Sufi tawakkul (trust in God) are one surrender.

📖 A story to understand

Torn by doubt, Arjuna finally set down his struggle and said, ‘I am Yours; guide me.’ In surrendering his anxious ‘I’ to the Divine will, his fog of fear lifted and a steady peace took its place.
