The Child Who Served the Sick

Guru Har Krishan became Guru when he was only a small child, yet his heart was wise and full of love far beyond his years.

When a terrible sickness spread through the city of Delhi, the little Guru did not stay safely away. He went among the suffering people, comforting them and helping care for the sick, rich and poor alike.

Though he himself fell ill while serving others, his fearless kindness as a child is lovingly remembered. A grand shrine, Bangla Sahib, stands where he helped.
