ਪੂਰਾ ਭਾਗੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ; ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Perfect destiny is inscribed upon your forehead and face; sing the Praises of the Lord forever. ||1||Pause||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ; ਹਰਿ ਦੇਇ ॥
The Lord bestows the Ambrosial Food of the Naam.
ਕੋਟਿ ਮਧੇ; ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਲੇਇ ॥
Out of millions, only a rare few receive it
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਅਪਣੀ; ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇਇ ॥੧॥
- only those who are blessed by God's Glance of Grace. ||1||
ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ; ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਵਸਾਇ ॥
Whoever enshrines the Guru's Feet within his mind,
ਦੁਖੁ ਅਨੑੇਰਾ; ਅੰਦਰਹੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
is rid of pain and darkness from within.
ਆਪੇ ਸਾਚਾ; ਲਏ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥੨॥
The True Lord unites him with Himself. ||2||
ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਿਉ; ਲਾਇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥
So embrace love for the Word of the Guru's Bani.
ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ; ਏਹੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥
Here and hereafter, this is your only Support.
ਆਪੇ ਦੇਵੈ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
The Creator Lord Himself bestows it. ||3||
ਸਚਾ ਮਨਾਏ. ਅਪਣਾ ਭਾਣਾ ॥
One whom the Lord inspires to accept His Will,
ਸੋਈ ਭਗਤੁ; ਸੁਘੜੁ ਸੋੁਜਾਣਾ ॥
is a wise and knowing devotee.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ; ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਣਾ ॥੪॥੭॥੧੭॥੭॥੨੪॥
Nanak is forever a sacrifice to him. ||4||7||17||7||24||
